I completed my first half Ironman (Ironman 70.3 Miami) a week and a half ago now and I still haven’t posted a race report – wah wah.
Yes – it’s not like me and it’s extremely bugging me. I can be a perfectionist but I also kinda needed some time off. Time away from training, time away from social media, time away from thinking…has anyone else experienced this? Crap adds UP.
|Much-needed Relaxing Time|
I simply found it tough to deal with the crazy high emotions of my biggest feat in paradise only to get slapped back to reality with snow and blah in Minnesota. Ok…please forgive me and enough of the pity party.
|Who would WANT to leave this perfection?!|
Officially out of my funk as I have just gone off the deep end and registered for ANOTHER half Ironman – 106 West Dillon Triathlon 9/10/16! The race is considered “The World’s Highest Triathlon” with an altitude of 10,291 ft – WOAH BABAY. This race has also been in the makings for a decade and is the first time people will be allowed to swim in Dillon Reservoir – amazing opportunity!
*Tomorrow (Thurs 11/5) is the last day to save 15% off registration with code PRE106. 10ish months to train. No excuses 😉
Check back shortly for a full race report of the TOUGHEST yet most REWARDING day of my life!!
