Longest Run: 15 Miles
|Slow and Steady and Proud|
Since I’ve been going on longer runs than normal I’ve been exploring new routes and new places I’ve never ran before. And it’s quite exciting and liberating. Born and raised in Minneapolis I thought I’d pretty much seen it all – until you actually RUN the streets! Lots to see and take it. And makes long runs feel like an adventure.
|Started by those buildings…woah.|
So I don’t know if you’re like me but I get bored easily. You can create all the music playlists you want but after so long I just get sick of listening to music! Podcasts have rejuvenated me. Not sure why I have not gotten in to them sooner but so very happy I have found my new love the one I’m obsessed with right now is “The School of Greatness” by Lewis Howes. Former pro-athlete turned lifestyle entrepreneur. Everything about his life inspires me to reach for more.

I have always been great with fitness but my nutrition has always taken a back-seat. I finally decided to make a change and I am on day 9 of a 30 days cleanse. And feeling fabulous. Why didn’t I do this before?! Perfect jump-start to the healthy, well-rounded lifestyle that makes me the best person and brings the most happiness. I can absolutely tell the difference in my workouts and runs. Helps so much to feel lighter and less bloated. WOW!
My legs were extremely sore after my long run and lifting so I treated myself to a hot yoga class at Modo Yoga. I’m not sure what it is about that place but every time I leave class I feel like a whole new woman.
60 days to go…
